SHINE (Support and Help in Education) is an education charity Program being run at PAN World School that funds and develops a range of programmes that are geared towards improving the academic opportunities of children from disadvantaged backgrounds and reducing the attainment gap. Its work is based on recognition of the negative impact that a low family income can have on educational achievement. These projects are to strengthen their performance in core academic subjects with the help of music and musical instruments. There are projects to enroll locals as well as people from overseas so as to use practical and creative teaching techniques and external trips to improve the academic performance of students.
